Tennis Camps

Please book by clicking book now with our booking software. If you are an existing customer who currently attends coaching groups, then enter the email you have registered with us. You will then receive a code to enter to login. 

If you do not currently attend coaching groups then you will need to register, and then your information will be stored for all future bookings. 

Once you have entered customer and Student details, you will be able to book onto the days and times of your choosing.

Tennis Camps

Holiday Clubs and Camps

We run the following camps

Full day Tennis Camp (9am-4pm) for 5-13 yrs

We teach all about tennis through our camps and they are great fun. We also incorporate some multi sports to help develop athletic skills. Children are guaranteed to have fun, make friends and learn lots of new skills. 

We Run;

Feb half term- Feb 18th, 19th, 20th

Easter- April 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th 

May half term- 27th, 28th, 29th

Summer- July 29th, 30th, 31st Aug 5th, 6th, 7th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 26th, 27th, 28th 

Oct half term- Oct 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 28th, 29th, 30th  

Christmas- Dec 22nd and 23rd 

About camps

Times are 9am-4pm each day

You can book individual days or a full 3 days

Costs:

All Caunton LTC members receive 15% discount on the below fee- If you are not a member but would like to become a member then please visit Caunton Lawn Tennis Club / Membership / Packages (lta.org.uk)

 

£40 non members per day

£35 per day non members if booking all 3 days in a week

All Camps are run by LTA Qualified Coaches and take place at Caunton Tennis Club

Camp Information

  • The camp starts at 9am each day and drop off is between 8.45- 9am. Collection is at 3.45-4pm.

  • Check in takes place in the main clubhouse and the coaches will check each child in so please report to the clubhouse upon arrival. Please ensure that your child has been checked in by a coach before leaving them.

  • Collection times as above and your child should be collected from the main clubhouse. Please ensure your child has been checked out by the coach before you leave with them.

  • Can you please ensure that your emergency contact numbers are up to date before the camp. If you’re going to be unavailable, would you please give the coaches a contact number in case we do have to contact you during the camp.

  • If your child is unable to attend the camp then please do let us know as soon as possible

  • If you will be late to drop off or collection then please let us know as soon as possible so we can make the necessary arrangements.

  • Things to remember and to bring with you

Trainers and sports wear

Spare clothes in case of getting wet in bad weather

Suitable clothing for the weather forecast

Refillable water bottle

Snacks

Packed lunch

Tennis racket if your child has one- if not then we have lots for children to use.

Sun cream to be applied before camp and also put in their bag.

Wet weather jacket for rain

 

  • Our Holiday camps are Nut Free so please ensure your children does not bring another nuts or products containing nuts to tennis camp.

  • We do play in wet conditions unless the rain is very persistent and heavy. In which case we will use the Clubhouse facility where we have indoor activities to occupy the children on wet weather days.

  • We do have a behaviour policy so please do read this before camp. 

A typical day at camp runs as below:
9am-9.30am Registration
9.30-10.30am On court warm up involving various multi sports
10.30-10.45am Break and snack
10.45-12am Tennis session 1
12-12.45am Lunch
12.45-1.15pm Team Game (example might be rounders or Kwik cricket)

1.15-2.15pm Tennis session 2
2.15-2.30pm Break and snack
2.30-3.45pm Tennis session 3

3.45-4pm Collection
